Part of Her Design the song describes one possible, unpleasant outcome of the events. Thank you so much for putting this together!  Psyche Chimere said she really wants to play, but probably can't due to the timing.  Later though, I'm sure she would like to join, as would I, but I don't get out your way that often.  When you get the bugs worked out, and we get a better fan base in the south, I would like to discuss introducing your game down in Texas, giving you credit for it of course, and directing questions back to the creator.   Drop me a line sometime atcovenantofthekraken@yahoo.com   

Psyche Corp Music Guaranteed!

In 6 years of performing and selling CDs at shows I've had 3 CD mishaps happen with things I sold and I've fixed all of them personally, so if you got an album at a show and had any problems with it, Please please contact me psychecorporation (at) gmail so I can take care of it for ya.

General Updates

A couple updates on life and such: I've tentatively begun composing for the next song on the album. Jewels is finished, in terms of recording, and just waiting on Seriah for mastering (he masters all the Psyche Corp. stuff, and is a saint). The next few months leading up til end of May are going to be slow for me because I'm studying for a national examination and doing groundwork for a special form of research. The exam will finish up by end of May though, so my pace with music ought to pick up again then. I'll also probably see about doing more amusing photo shoots when the weather gets warm--let me know if you have location suggestions ^_^.



Psyche Corporation ‎..it might make more sense to explain that I've been an graduate student doing training in science research studies since 2010.

Super Cellist Mike Lunapiena Saving Our Asses

Per the Shadow Queen:  We had a show yesterday, notable points include Psyche Corp. cellist Mike Lunapiena saving our asses when the instrumental track dropped out mid-song because he somehow pulled an instrumental version of the track out of his cello-ing right there and we just kept going. It was epic. You had to be there.

Psyche Corporaton plays theatrical (occasionally almost histrionic), industrial tinged, rock that I can best describe as "steampunk friendly". On their third outing, "Pretend", the music positively drips texture and drama.

Ramon Leon Del Mar The term "Street Team" as I understand it, originally referred to a group of fan-based volunteers that got out on the street promoting their favorite band, posting fliers, and telling people how great the show will be to drum up support. These days many go further in terms of looking for and even arranging venues like a promoter. A few may even write and publish publicity articles and look for new ways to use the internet and journalism to promote their favorite band, but this is more rare. I and my team (a local steampunk performance art troupe in Texas called Kali's Hourglass) provide all of those services in addition to the traditional face to face promotion at events, but we usually hand out business cards with a very dramatic photo of Psyche Chimere and contact info for the bands various websites. We help other bands as well in many ways, but Psyche Corporation is the only one we directly support as a full service official street team.

Fan Art Sketch of Shadow Queen and Angelbots

This is just a quick sketch of possible Angelbot cosplay designs with a sketch of Genevieve in the center taken from one of my favorite scenes from the Music Video "OH".  The dancers are Order of the Rose Angelbot (flower petals growing out of face, wrists, and ankles) on the left and an Order of the Horn Angelbot (steampunk gear operated wings version) on the right.  You can click the picture to get it to enlarge.  Once again this was just a very quick pencil sketch, but I'm showing you the kind of creative process that goes into designing and debating designs for shows, LARPs, etc.

Psyche Corp Music Successfully Used as a Drug!

Today I was advised by my dentist that my root canal was likely to be unusually painful as the antibiotics had not fully addressed the inflammation of the gums prior to the procedure and, as such, the Novocaine was likely to be somewhat less effective.  I told him that if he could put a bite guard between my molars on the other side, so that I did not relax so much I closes the teeth on him while he was working, (or bite him by mistake) I could use deep trance hypnosis to block the pain and not need to delay the procedure.  He knew I could do this as I had used it so effectively in his office in the past that his biggest problem was me getting too relaxed and shutting my mouth while he was working.  He agreed to use a soft bite guard and try it.

Now you may not believe this, but I started listening to my favorite Psyche Corporation album, just before starting the self hypnosis, then got so into the music and the sound of our Shadow Queen's sweet voice and the singing that I forgot about everything, including the root canal.  They occasionally prompted me to get me to pull out the earphones and ask me something, or to get me to re-position something, but otherwise I was pretty much off in another realm throughout the procedure!   This is actually a true story, believe it or not.  Feel free to e-mail me if you want more details.  covenantofthekraken@yahoo.com

Psyche Corporation-Conspiracy or Just Good PR?

 While we cannot officially comment upon these rumors about Psyche Corp.'s 
existence in the 21st century beyond our capacity as a minor branch of the time displaced PR department, this "fan site" does seem to be a good place to plot Psyche Corp. shenanigans such as group invasions of Psyche Corp. shows where you wear funny hats and throw panties at Gen. Or something like that.


Speaking of which, for my show April 1st at DROM in NYC, I would love nothing more than to be able to say "And then during my performance of 'Wonderland' two different fans wearing MOCK TURTLE signs ran up and staged their own deaths..."

One Eyed Doll - Possible Allies???

Admiral Ramon Leon del Mar and Vice Admiral Radha Narasimhan recently made a leader's recon to look over some local talent that might just help us in our new "War Against Normalcy"

While at a local drinking establishment by the unlikely name of "Trees" we ran into just the sort of people we were looking for!  The other contacts we had gone to see were forgotten in a flash when who did we behold on stage, but One Eyed Doll!  Kimberly Freeman, the beautiful, the talented, the absolute Queen of Weird, and her beloved vampire, Junior, (apparently reconstituted after that little accident at the sunny picnic) were absolutely rockin' the house!

An actual quote from a brand new fan I met, that had no idea what he was in for with these two said, and I quote:  "It's great.  It's kind of like Kid Rock meets Rob Zombie!  It's just so wrong!  It's so disturbing I won't be able to sleep tonight, but it's absolutely awesome!"

Yep...that's what he said alright. I would swear to this in front of a panel of True Seeing Angelbots, really!
